Reflections of a working writer and reader

Immersion in the life of the world, a willingness to be inhabited by and to speak for others, including those beyond the realm of the human, these are the practices not just of the bodhisattva but of the writer. Jane Hirshfield

White Skin Man Reviewed

Maxine’s blog at Petrona has a review of my novel, White Skin Man. Her page is well worth a visit. She also has a link to Amazon where they appear to be giving White Skin Man away. Well, almost.
This is an extract from the novel.
And other reviews of the novel appear on this page.

    Hello John
I did buy your book from Amazon but I promise not at a give away price! I like to pay the going rate for a book I read as I have the fond belief that the author benefits at least a little bit for all the sweat of the brow in creating it. (Though I admit I prefer reading paperbacks to hardbacks.)
I’m off to buy more now, having enjoyed White Skin Man so much.
You’ve probably noticed that Frank Wilson has linked to your posting from Books, Inq. too.
    all best wishes
    Maxine.
