The post turtle

Sometimes, driving down a country road you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top. Some folks would just drive on by. But you know he didn’t get there by himself, he doesn’t belong there, he doesn’t know what to do while he’s up there, and you just want to help the dumb shit get down. This is a picture of a lady, with a nice sense of irony, who is not driving by:

Blowjob

This is funny! I usually do not like political jokes/pictures, and Bush is so easy a target, but this is pretty good I have to admit.
Where did you see this lady? Not on a drive down a country road by the looks of it.

  2. Emchi

That’s just made my day (nearly typed dad there, bit of a freudian slip).

Excellent proactive approach to removing the cretin from our universe. Although short of assasination, I’m not sure we’ll ever get rid of him, I suspect he’ll manage to change the law so he can stand for another term indefinately, or declare it a dictatorship. He makes my blood boil, almost as much as his “employee” Bliar.

The first thing that comes off my head seeing this picture is that American culture is such a paradox. It’s most obsessed with sex and yet most easily scandalized. Coverage of Clinton’s impechment affair reeked of both fascinated pleasure and moralistic aversion - although sex is public in this mass mediated culture, anyone, including the president, the gay and lesbian, who is associated with sex can be outrageously demonized.

Yes, that sign does sort of sum up what’s gone wrong in America. Really, you can’t blame Bush for all this, but everyone of us who hadn’t been paying attention to the right details when it came to chosing our public figures. I’m to blame, too, partly. I just didn’t care about politics. I ignored anything political. Now we are sowing what we’ve reaped.

I think this ‘Bush Derangement Syndrome’ is a very real problem in this country. Like our friend, Emchi, some people will believe anything CNN (Clinton News Network) tells them and think that they’re getting the whole story. Our president (that title alone deserves your respect, whether you like him or not. He’s your frickin’ president!), George W. Bush, has done some great things for this country, and has also done some great things for the international community. He’s made just as many (or fewer) mistakes as each of us do every day… but for some reason, all a lot of people (especially liberals) care about is that we’re at war in Iraq… despite the fact that it was Clinton who STARTED this whole thing.
The woman depicted in the image above needs help. No not help getting Bush out of office, but mental help… and probably spiritual help as well. There’s nothing wrong with being Liberal, Conservative, Republican, or Democrat… but with the mentality and values that comes with those titles. Years and years ago, my father told me something that 19 out of 20 times is true. Not for everyone, but for the majority: Republicans/Conservatives are moral people, Democrats/Liberals are political people.
God help us if Hillary Clinton is elected president of the United States… we’ll need it.

What is wrong with this lady? Doesn’t she know it wasn’t a blowjob that get Clinton impeached? It was lying during a congressional hearing, and getting caught.

Unlike those people who are standing therein the picture, I am an American and I believe in our military and I think we should win this war as quickly as possible, just like Colin Powell wanted…

Oh, would someone please look up the rules and articles of the declaration of war, that would provide proof that this ISN’T “George Bush’s War”…

    Semper Fi

jb says: Thanks for the rundown on your ‘beliefs’, Patrick. But perhaps history will record the facts, tacky and unappetizing as they are.

  7. Martel

I’d be happy to look up the rules and articles of the declaration of war for you, Patrick…

…oh, my mistake, THERE WAS NO DECLARATION OF WAR.
