This was such a fascinating whodunit. Ann Cleeves deserves many kudos for being able to lead the reader from start to finish. Such a great author.

I remember the day I started reading this book. We were in a family outing and I was out of books and stuff to do. I saw the book ( Raven Black ) sitting on my cousin’s bed so I said ” What the hell ” and started reading it.

Two days later I was still reading it and hooked. The intense scenes were so absorbing that I just couldn’t put it down until the finish.

I`m going to see the book launch of Ann Cleeves at Benwell Library on Wednesday 10th December. Thanks for the write up you feature on your blog. Apart from wanting to buy one for myself, I have a present to buy for a workmate for the Bran Tub, she`s an avid crime reader and a signed copy will go down well.
