What was the most highly hunted book in 2006 on AbeBooks? The lion’s share belonged to Dan Brown, but the top ten list as a whole features, among other things, an intriguing mix of sex, big cats and harps.

    For some reason I find it very difficult to believe The Irish & the Highland Harps made the top 10. And that from an Irishman.

    jb says: Sometimes it’s the same guy. One man who can’t think of anything else but Harps. Maybe he had the book once, limited edition, so there’s not many about, and he lost it or it was stolen and now he wants the book back and he’s ransacking Abebooks database every few minutes for the whole year. Well, it could happen . . .

    None of those really surprise me except the harp one. That’s just odd.
