Melt the Guns
Viscount LaCarte at Newcritics has a song he wants to share:
There are too many guns in the USA.
They are too easy to get.
I’m sick of the NRA.
I’m sick of listening to blathering shills telling me over the airwaves that this is the price of freedom, that gun control won’t work, that the Second Amendment means any idiot can get a gun, and decide when he’s had enough he can take innocents with him.It doesn’t make any sense. Those of us who understand this need to speak out.

America’s ongoing infatuation with ‘the right to bear arms’ is ludicrous. I hope one day they shall see just how ludicrous, Im quickly losing all sympathy with a nation that makes fully automatic weapons available then is outraged at each fresh massacre. Hopefully soon they will join the rest of the civilised world until then I have no sympathy for them.
Tell me of the last crime that has been committed in America with a fully automatic weapon, please.
Murder is already illegal, do you think that making guns illegal will stop criminals from getting guns? It will just keep honest citizens from getting guns. You won’t put up your address on here, but if you did, I guarantee you some local criminal would target your house because they know they won’t be shot. They won’t target mine because they know they will.
