1. Why do you blog?
I blog out of frustration. Most of my favorite books were found by accident or a search so precarious it would make Indiana Jones cry blood. That shouldn’t be the case. My blog is my way of making things a little easier for readers.

2. Which author and/or book has most influenced you?
What? C’mon, how am I going to pick just one? As a blogger I’m influenced by a host of indie writers. Reading anything by Noah Cicero or Carlton Mellick III, for example, just makes me shake my head. Everyone should know about them. Their books should be prizes in the bottom of your cereal, on the sides of buses . . .

3. Which three blogs do you most visit?
Dogmatika at: http://www.dogmatika.com/dm/
Galleycat at: http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/
Metaxucafe at: http://metaxucafe.com/
(more of litblog aggregate . . . but I’m perusing daily.)

4. Why do you read fiction?
It’s one of the few places where the limitations of reality are not a factor. There are no boundaries. It’s funnier, louder and at times far more twisted than what I bump into on a day to day basis. Sometimes.

5. What makes you laugh?
I have a fairly dark sense of humor. I tend to like things that are eight shades of wrong. Office haikus (Palahniuk’s Fight Club) = funny. A punk version of heaven run by dictators (Mellick’s Punkland) = funny. etc. etc. etc.
