1. Why do you blog?
A variety of reasons. It allows me to interact with people I’d normally never have a chance to. It’s a way to expand my knowledge and widen my horizons. Most of all because it’s fun. I enjoy sharing tidbits and in return learning tidbits.

2. Which author and/or book has most influenced you?
Okay, I have a couple but I’m going to say The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare is one from my childhood that’s left a lasting impression and part of what drew me to writing for children. I still have the original print on my book shelf and I still go back and read it.

3. Which three blogs do you most visit?
That’s tough because I visit every blog on my list almost every day. Some are writing blogs, some sports, some entertainment, and others purely personal. So I’ve selected three: on writing, one entertainment and one sport. All Kinds of Writing at: http://allkindsofwriting.blogspot.com/, Untitled Chad Darnell Project at: http://chaddarnell.typepad.com/, and Yankees Blog at: http://www.yankeesbaseballblog.com/. In all honesty though I love visiting all the blogs on my list.

4. Why do you read fiction?
Because there’s nothing else quite like it out there. It’s imagination come to life. It’s words strung together to tell a story. Because it has the power to make my trouble fade away. Because it’s addicting.

5. What makes you laugh?
A funny story, an embarrassing personal mishap, my friends . . .
