The trouble is lack of concentration. Your desire - energy is being wasted away in minor skirmishes with the world. The intelligence in the poems, as a result, scatters among too many objects, and none of them come alive. A word or a phrase in a poem can only live through your energy. To get it into the world, the energy has to be withdrawn from the world. It's a hard choice.
King of the Streets
