A Writer’s Notebook III

I have a note about a small old people’s home, situated somewhere in the south of Germany. I do know exactly where it is but will not divulge this information to protect the innocent. The note is about a geriatric couple who have insisted on sitting next to each other on the ward for some considerable time. Neither of them have the use of their legs. It goes on to describe how the couple argued and wrangled with the support staff until they agreed to lower the sidebar and put the old woman in his bed.

About Writing:

And by the way, everything in life is writeable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt. Sylvia Plath
