Is the book sold in most stores or do you have to special order it online?

"What is not so good is when you start reading you soon realise that the manuscript hasn’t been adequately copy-proofed. There are words missing, half-words, duplicated words, inversions like hte instead of the, each of which sends a shiver of pain into a reader’s heart."

Nothing puts a reader off more than a book full of typo errors. Why would any author allow his or her book to be released in such a condition? I would certainly be ashamed to do so.

I've just released a personal memoir and was terrified to find just ONE typo! I literally read every single word of the proof several times over - then asked someone I could trust to do the same.

It is not hard to do and is the least you owe any reader.

There are a couple of creepy twists at the end of the tale, with a strong hint that the cycle will begin all over again - in a future book, perhaps. Let's hope so, because a half life of one is a very welcome addition to the thriller genre.

I remember Nick Dowty loses his business when the bank forecloses. Desperate to save his house and to hold his family together, he dreams up a dangerous scheme to escape his increasingly hopeless situation. Despite all his careful planning, Nick's actions pile on the pressure even more, to screaming point.
I highly recommend Bill Liversidge's excellent book -- it is short, punchy and has a nasty twist in the tale.
