1. Why do you blog?
I blog mostly because it’s fun. I enjoy communicating with friends, family, and other readers who happen upon my site. I’ve always enjoyed writing and observing and providing commentary on what I see happening around me, and blogging allows me to do that very simply and easily.

1. Why do you blog?
About 70% of my blog is photography, my other hobby; it’s a way for me to showcase my interest in old and odd cameras. The pictures are meant to be the ointment to draw flies to my stories, and to the stories and books that I think deserve attention. [...]



Stockholm

The night before leaving for Stockholm we eat smoked prawns and sour-dough bread with a chilled Sicilian Chardonnay (don’t knock it). Later, under a moon carved from ancient ivory, we slip from a 90 degree sauna into an ebony sea, and back again into the heat, our bodies bristling with excitement.

Basically because I enjoy writing. I enjoy sounding off about things and sharing stuff I have found interesting. I also see it as a kind of preparation for some ‘real writing’. It gets me writing on a regular basis.
